I won’t be posting pictures of the actual competition yet but here’s a photo of my cousins and I in blue. We formed a Gab-For-The-Win Movement last night at the Great Bodies 2009 competition.
Two months of tuna, grilled chicken, no carbs and perpetual training paid off. FIRST RUNNER UP! He was robbed of the grand prize though. I say that with all my biases aside. Gab really REALLY REALLY was the BEST contestant there.
But that’s okay because he knows it and we know it and even if the judges didn’t see it, the rest of us did. As I told him: last night was meant, not just for victory, but for him to feel the extreme intensity of familial love. And I know, no, I believe, that he felt it. That it knocked him over with its force.
Guts, glory and Gab. We are real proud. :) Real proud.
