Just woke up from a nap and decided to post some pictures. This is my room, where I spend most of my time when I’m at home. I share it with my sister but since she spends 80% of her time in the office or on dates with her boyfriend, I get to use it the most. They’re building a new room downstairs especially for me so come December, I’ll have to bid this one goodbye. Which sucks (in a way) because I love this one so much.
1. The queen-sized bed. Sheets courtesy of Ikea. The purple rectangle over there is my laptop. Sorry if the pillows are messy. :) I sleep on the right side, my sister on the left. Just so you know, the bed takes up 80% of the room. Haha.
2. My corkboard. I wake up to it every morning. It has pictures and post-it notes of and from people I love. There is even a one-year-old kiss mark from Barby and a clay magnet from Korea. No kidding.
3. My sister and I sleep under the soft glow of plastic stars. They’ve been up there since the 90’s. They’re what comfort me when I wake up in the middle of the night feeling scared.
4. A picture of little me, back when we were living in Kuala Lumpur.

About:

that's when i realized that words have wings;
they're kind of like birds but mostly like children,
whom you groom and raise.
you mold them and shape them well
and, like the sky that has no limits,
you hope that someday,
somebody will take them home,
call them their own;
that they will find a place to belong.
